Job Summary
The Mass Tort Legal Assistant works alongside their Attorney and Supervisor handling cases in all phases while maintaining an open line of communication with clients, providers, and inter office teams and co-counsels in other states.
Responsibilities and Duties
Daily interaction with clients, co-counsels, third party vendors, and medical providers via phone, email and remote conferencing
Investigate and request all supporting documents to prove clients claim. Including, but not limited to, medical records, proof of use documentation, etc.
Review, upload, and process daily correspondence delivered via email, fax or through our paperless software.
Interview and assist clients in completing case questionnaires
Build and maintain relationships with their clients to keep them updated on their case,
Assist in case resolution, which may include but is not limited to, lien resolution and closing statement preparation.
Qualifications and Skills
Bi-lingual: (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
One year minimum office experience.
Excellent Customer Service skills.
Strong multitasking skills, highly organized, and detail oriented.
Able to work accurately and efficiently in a high-paced environment
